Food for Kids Packing is on May 31st We packed 500 food bags and presented a cheque for $5000. Tuesday, June 6th evening: The four clubs plus next District Governor , Brenda Hollerin ( from Waterloo Rotary Club ) we presented an Intro to Rotary presentation to Cambridge City Council. Details to come. We had a great turn out! Saturday, June 17th. Kids Ability Fun Fair in Waterloo which takes the place of the Superhero Run. We need 15 volunteers from the 4 clubs. Thursday June 22: Mark your calendar for a fun time at the President's Ball. No cost to members. No regular meeting that day. Bring a guest. No live band so we will be able to make conversation. Guests are $75 Rena says we have been asked to involve ourselves in the Canada Day Celebrations on July 1st. 15 volunteers from the 4 clubs( 2-3/club) have been asked to collect donations along the parade route. It lasts about 3 hours and is a fun time. 10% of our collected donations would go to the charity of our choice. Let Rena know if you are interested. |
