World Class Boxer

Scarlet will be introduced by her coach Syd Vanderpool, himself a former super middle weight world champion, and a Rotarian with local roots.

Scarlet will represent Canada at the upcoming world championships, and is a hopeful for the 2024 Olympics.

I am honoured to have the opportunity to share my experiences in and out of the ring.  I strongly feel It is important to have female athlete leaders seen in the local community for many reasons. Most important to me is that female athletes can serve as positive role models for young girls who may be interested in sports but lack representation and guidance. Seeing successful women in athletic leadership positions can inspire young girls to pursue their dreams and believe in themselves.
