Good news
Jim Mcpherson has just graduated from Pickle Ball Academy.
Tom S. is happy to be back from across the pond. Also happy that he and Larry B's table get the largest pot of coffee.

Today's Program
Jim Johnson introduced Sherrill Hyde and Joe Gowing from Cadet Youth Development Centre that runs its programmes out of a building at Waterloo Wellington Int. Airport.
Sherrill is from Manitoba and graduated in Health Sciences  from U of Manitoba, Winnipeg is 1972. She has worked as an inhalation therapist at CMH for an amazing 48 years. She has just retired. She started volunteering in the '90s, joined Air Cadets in '97 when her son joined, and became sponsorship committee head in 2004 for the CYDC. The CYDC was Major Ron Gowing's lifetime project and opened in 2004. Young people ages 12-18 join the Air Cadets . They are taught leadership skills, gain a more positive attitude and self confidence. They can try their skills in computer flight simulators.  All of this done on donations of $ and equipment.
Cadets have gone on to join the Canadian Armed forces and other ventures.
Sherrill had devoted a good part of her adult life to helping others.
The CYDC is always looking for financial support if you are interested. It needs a new roof.
Sherrill and Joe were thanked by George Sczepski.

Todd's joke.  The old man fell down the well because he could not see well. hah.
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And don't fall down wells.
