50/50 Draw
I believe Brian Wadell was the two time loser..  The pot has grown to 255.
Good News
Past Prez Rajbir Mann has accepted a position as technical advisor with Rotary International.

Paul Cody wants to relive his youth by roller skating.  Members with appropriate disability insurance should contact Paul for more information.  Maybe new member Vince De Cicco can work on a disclaimer.

Club Job Openings
I am not sure if we still require a new bulletin editor .  I am aware that more bingo volunteers  would be helpful.
Announcements and Upcoming Events
I heard something about a social gathering at Puslinch Lake sometime this summer.  This is thought to be a safer than rollerskating.
Today's Program
Honorary member and Past Prez Harry Edgar introduced our new President Todd Lyons.  Apparently Harry Edgar introduced Todd Lyons exactly 25 years ago.for Todds first term as President.

Todd mentioned that he  originally  joined Rotary to meet women.   ( i don't think he had heard the joke that Lions have sex 7 times a day.  but he had already joined Rotary.    sorry I digress.
Todd has the pin of his geat grand father .

About our Pin.
the circle in aboriginal culture  signifies our connection to one another. The dots which are 7  represent people and  areas of Rotary focus.
The colours green represent environment. purple polio eradication.  and white for peace.
Todd also talked about Rotary engagement as the key to keeping new members.
President Todd admitted that he  has in the past  found it difficult to ask for help and asking directly.
we need to ask our selves why are we Rotarions.  Projects are a great way to be involved.  We should all not wat to be asked.
7 areas of Rotary service.
Peace and Conflict
Disease Prevention and Treatment
Water and sanitation
Maternal and child needs
Basic Education and literacy
Economic and community Development
Environment.

Paul Cody thanked President Todd for speaking today.

Editors note.    I am not sure about the conspiracy theory. but the Rotary site Club runner lost our template for doing our bulletins.   Maybe not related but Rogers doing an upgrade to their systems shut down  on Friday.  .   Systems were restored and President Toddy  figured out  how to restore our bulletin.   I am home having been caught in the 7th wave.    All is fine.
