Dr. Asa Ahimbisibwe
His Book Hopeful, Women & Children's Health

Asa is an Obstetrician and gynecologist at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. he is also an Assistant Clinical  Professor of Obstetrics with McMaster University.

He lives in Cambridge with his wife and two sons ( 6 years & 4 years old).  He is passionate about Women's and children's health, and an advocate for equal opportunities to get an education. He knows full well, how education can change one's life trajectory because he is a testament to that.

His Book hopeful is about the power of education, the resilience of parents and seeks to change the narrative about the poor and their contribution to their communities.

It puts faces to the hundreds of parents working to break the cycle of poverty, children raising to their potential, and those that are left behind often.

I set a goal of raising CAN $ 10,000 for the Wome and children section through a partnership with the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation.  Am well over CAN $6000 already raised. For each book sold through the Hospital Foundation website, 50% goes to the foundation.
