Also Oct 24th is World Polio Day. Rena will be in the Booth at  Cambridge Mall. Drop in and say hi.  11 am to 4 pm
Anne Marie also sent and email about Salsa dancing at Temple Baptist church every Monday evening. But it's not salsa it's bachata. Watch the Y-tube video.  Also 97 more sleeps to Tacos Y Tequila.

Todd said he was at the Kidney Foundation Dinner and guessed that there were 243 chocolates in a glass vase. He brought them for us to eat.
He also auctioned off 30 cans of bad beer that were left over. They went to Anne Marie B. for $55. What can I say?
Heidi said that Vanessa was on the front page of Insight Magazine which I think is the Chamber of Commerce Mag. Congrats.

We will be treated to a buffet lunch at our regular mtg on Nov 2nd. Treated in the broadest sense, don't get me wrong.

Club Opportunities
We are currently looking for another bulletin editor and welcome aspiring writers looking to do light-hearted character assassinations (optional, but encouraged). Contact President Rena if you want to join the Bulletin Fold.
Good news
Neil Ostlund is leaving for the warm and sunny south. He is going to Arkansas where the Rotary Club serves better food. Yum...fried catfish, fried okra, biscuits, gravy etc. Y'all come back next spring.
Editor Tom mentioned Preston's recognition of  War Veterans by a display of faces and names on the lamp posts in the downtown. I thought it was well done
Jim McPherson and Joslin are going on holiday in Europe. I think a river cruise. Enjoy the Goulash.
Rena mentioned the Peace Pole Installation last week in our Hespeler park. It was a good ceremony and a beautiful day. Go and visit it some day.
Today's Program

Unveiling of The Rotary Peace Pole:  From last week. I left it in today's Bulletin.

Anne Marie and Heidi put on a ' dog and poney ' show today to teach us about Club Runner. Please refer to Anne Marie's helpful email sent earlier.
Sweets were handed out to bribe us into downloading the Club Runner App to our phones.  We can/ should update our profile in Club Runner but this can be done on your home  computer.  Right now it says I have been a Rotarian for 120 years. Wow.
The second email address;  my.rotary.org  is to access Rotary International where you can register for online courses, donate to Polio Plus etc. Also available is a member search or a club search for anywhere in the world. You can look up Rotary Stats.
Anne Marie and Heidi will offer personal help if we ask. Thank you.
Erica officially thanked the crew.
Paul McMenemy told a Joke. Apparently he is still able to put his foot in his mouth!

Larry's Bulletin reminder for next week just arrived. Thank you Larry for keeping us on the straight and narrow
