Club Job Openings
I think we are still looking for another bulletin editor who has a sense of humour - or think they do and would like to have the ability to be creative - if you are  hearing impaired.  Ditto to that.

Prez Todd gave Paul McMenemy a bottle of wine( not sure why)
Today's Program
Prez elect Rena Hawkins introduced TK Pritchard  who is the executive director for SHORE.    This organization used to be known as Planned Parenthood.   Shore stands for Sexual Health Options Reproductive Rights and Education.

I think we all learned a lot today.  They do a lot of counselling during pregnancy  and after for those that suffer from deprssion.  There is also a counselling service for  those that have a miscarriage.  SHORE will support clients weather they choose to keep their baby, adopt or abort.  They help clients with appointments and navigating the health care system.;  They have volunteer drivers that will drive clients to their appointments..
SHORE  does a lot of education to groups  both youth and adults as they are trained to talk comfortably about SEX.  Consent is also part of those talks.
SHORE can help with Birth Control where  clients are reluctant to talk to family doctor.
Help with costs of birth control is also provided.  If you don't have a drug plan birth control costs  20 to 30 a month.  An  IUD  costs $ 500

SHORE is partially funded by United way and the rest is fund  raised .  They are a non profit with a charitable number.  Also a work Cambridge Bingo.  I believe they have  14 employees.

There were  many questions from audience on the US Supreme court decision on abortion and possible effects here in Canada.

Sadly no one asked what PK stands for.

Prez Todd did the standard thank you with our donation to the polio vaccination program.

Another lame joke pancakes and baseball.
