Club Job Openings
Always looking for a Bulletin Editor - you can be as creative as you like and you will never get fired.  Sometimes you get asked to do it three times in a row.

Good news

Jim Johnston was back from Iceland.  Beautiful but cold.

John Jonas calendar was off by a week as he went to Hamilton theatre today.

George Sz was back from the BC coast.  There are still lots of fish out there.

Suki donated a bottle of wine for the gala  because his phone went off .

Graham Williams was at the Commonwealth Games and enjoyed many sporting events.

Today's Program
Prez Todd introduced Taveena Kum.   Taveena Kum is a local retired boxer.  She has been a Provincial Champion  and a

National Champion.  She has travelled the world representing Canada. One of her biggest and most well known fans was

Lennox Lewis former heavy weight champion of the world,  After  two untimely concussions  Taveena decided to retire.

While recovering from her last concussion she was approached by Ta Lisa   ( not sure of spelling) a local young women that has downs syndrome to teach her to box.  Word quickly spread through the handicapped community, about how much fun this was.

Today Taveena Kum overseas  Fierce N Fit Special Needs Charitable Organization. http://www.fiercenfitboxing.com  ( During covid they operated with Zoom fitness classes,) They have over 50 students that travel from as far as Kincardine, Goderich , Hanover ,London , Cambridge to her Kitchener facility twice a week.

Handicaps include Down Syndrome, Aspergers, Fetal alcohol Syndrome, Tourettes , Celebral Palsy,  Attention Deficit  hyper activity disorder,  and other learning and cognitive disorders.

For those interested I see a Fierce N Fit Boxing  channel on U-tube where you can see Taveena in action along with .scenes of her students working out.  From watching her students in action you can see the joy and confidence building with her students,

Taveena"s dream would be to own her own facility rather than renting.

Rena thanked her for coming and Todd closed the meeting with  the official thanks and another  lame joke.
