Good news
Sukhi has moved his fishing operation to Lake Erie, now with cigar boat and down riggers. Bad news: Someone caught an Alligator Gar just off the beach at Rena's cottage on lake Erie. They are moving up from the south.

Nancy's first year with our club is coming up sometime soon.
Today's Program
Today we were presented with the 2024-25 budget and an updated set of our Bylaws. Fortunately for me, this is secret stuff so I will not have to type much.
But I will mention some small details.
Tom Everett presented the budget. These figures are a budget not the final figures which come out after the year. He said that Revenue Canada does not like it when charitable organizations have unspent money in the bank. But we have good reserves for our upcoming 100th Anniversary Year,
Financial support for the President Attending the Rotary Convention in Calgary next year was discussed.
The Club will support lunch for the first visit of a guest, but that's it.
Tom reminded us that 10% of our fundraising goes to our Foundation. ( not Rotary Int. Foundation).
Bingo funds raised go to  Community Service.
Paul McMenemy thanked Tom for his work. The Budget was passed.

Todd presented the updated Bylaws of our Club.  Lots and Lots of finicky details for the smooth running of our club. A Quorum for transaction of Business at a Member's Meeting is now 33%.  Members may now participate in meetings by phone or electronic means. It's the way of the world.
A motion to accept the Bylaws was passed. Todd has put hours of work into this update. Paul M. thanked Todd.
Paul McMenemy told a joke about farting teachers. We needed some levity.
