Opening and Sgt @ Arms Report

President Russell opened the meeting a at 1238.  Tracy did the 4 way test and Greg Mc Kay  did the invocation.  There were 22 members present plus Erica joined us at 1245.   Birthdays are being celebrate by Jim McPherson, Greg and Randy

Roses last sales are either Saturday or Sunday.  George and  Rena are leading the way.
 
 Randy spoke briefly about the Auction
 
Paul McMenemy and Todd are recovering from Mann colds. I hear Lena has a female cold which isn,t  as bad.
 
Paul Cody lost his shoes at a event.  His team second in Mens closing.
 
Tracey was glad she found out about her fathers medical procedure.
 
 
Club Opportunities

We do still need Speaker Seeker as well as a Bulletin Editor- speak to President Russ or any other member on the board.

There is a position for Community Services on the Board - speak to Russ or President- elect Kristin

Today's Speaker
 
Treasurer Tom was our speaker today and reviewed this years budget.   A very good explanation of our affairs to new and “old ” members.
 
We have a membership  account that covers the expenses of the club which is where are dues go.  There is also a charitable and a Foundation account.  Bingo and Duck races funds have to be kept and accounted for in a separate  bank account.
 
Lastly the budget was passed as  well as  an amendment to our bylaws  modernizing  the procedure  of approving new members.
