Kristen Wolfe is a Canadian stunt performer, precision driver, coordinator, writer, advocate, and consultant based in East Guelph, Ontario. Her life journey—defined by resilience, adaptability, and personal transformation—was highlighted in a personal presentation to her local Rotary Club, where she serves as an active member and incoming president.
Born in Calgary, Alberta, in 1981, Kristen moved to Kitchener, Ontario, as a young child with her mother following her parents' separation. Her early childhood was marked by severe instability due to a tumultuous home environment with her stepfather. At age eight, her family fled to a women’s shelter in Woodstock, Ontario. After later returning to the difficult household, Kristen chose to leave home at 17, which forced her to become independent quickly and leave formal high school unfinished. During these formative years, her maternal grandparents, Lou and Bill Campbell, provided essential stability, encouragement, and support. Her grandfather, a dedicated Rotarian of over 40 years, deeply influenced her lifelong values.
Leveraging her natural athletic ability and training in martial arts, Kristen entered the stunt industry at 17, performing a full-body fire burn as one of her earliest achievements. Over a 22-year career in film and television, she worked across Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, the United States, and the UK. She hosted a television show, performed complex physical stunts, and doubled for prominent actors on productions such as Vikings, Flashpoint, Covert Affairs, and Orphan Black. Following a severe motorcycle accident on set in 2015, Kristen successfully pivoted her career toward precision driving and stunt coordinating, contributing to major projects like Transformers and Mayor of Kingstown.
In 2017, Kristen gave birth to her daughter, Harriet. Navigating single motherhood, complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) stemming from childhood trauma, and a challenging custody battle led her toward a new professional mission. She earned her high school diploma, reconnected with her biological father, and built a stable family life alongside her husband, Carlo.
Recognizing systemic gaps in family court proceedings, Kristen pursued specialized education in family mediation, family law, and intimate partner violence. Today, alongside her ongoing work in film and television, she operates a consulting practice focused on identifying and documenting patterns of coercive control and domestic violence to assist legal professionals, judges, and families navigating complex separations.
