Waterloo Regional Block Parent Program

Since 2009, Tara has fulfilled various roles at Waterloo Regional Block Parents, volunteering most of that time as the Chair of the Board.

Tara’s on-going passion for building child-safety and active transportation programs resulted in a successful past-partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society and Active School Travel Waterloo Region.

She co-founded Cambridge Authors; is herself the author of two novels titled, “Little Girl in the Mirror” and “Me and My Shadow”; is a Director at Guitars for Kids Waterloo Region; was the Content Coordinator for Neighbours of West Galt magazine; is an alumni of Leadership Waterloo Region; and was also the 2018 recipient of the Bernice Adams Memorial Award for Communication/Literary Arts.

Tara lives in the historic West Galt area of Cambridge, Ontario with her husband and their two daughters.
