Greenway Chaplain

Hiba Aburaneh has been a Cambridge resident for over 25 years. Here's Hiba's history with Greenway-Chaplin. She first connected to Greenway-Chaplin Community Centre when her children were young. Hiba and her family attended the Greenway-Chaplin community events and she volunteered too. Hiba joined the Board of Directors at Greenway-Chaplin Community Centre in 2021 and then she volunteered to begin a Women's Group that would meet each week in 2022. In 2023, Greenway-Chaplin received a grant and was able to offer Hiba a contract role to facilitate the Women's Group and our Neighbourhood Action Grant program. Hiba also teaches at Conestoga College. Welcome Hiba!
