Dianne McLeod, Executive Director
New Initiatives at the Cambridge Food Bank

Jen Germann-Wright, Capital Campaign Project Lead, will also be in attendance.

Dianne Mcleod believes in opening doors of access and opportunity to others, particularly those with the greatest needs.

Growing up in a family that struggled with addiction, compromised mental health, and living on a low income, gives Dianne an increased perspective on the challenges that families face when trying to break the cycle of poverty.

Dianne has been part of the Cambridge Food Bank team for more than 20 years, having started there on a student placement after she returned to school as a single mother of three young children. Over the preceding 20 years Dianne has held various roles at the Food Bank, from Food Co-operative Coordinator, Program Coordinator with the Small Steps to Success program, to Program Manager, until August of 2020, when she took on the role of Executive Director.

Dianne has been the recipient of several awards, including Region of Waterloo's Top 40 under 40, but what brings her the most profound joy is mentoring others to dream about a different future for themselves and supporting them along their journey.
