Brief Bio: Michael Lawrie is a Retired Family Physician ( classmate of Tom Samolcyk) who has practised in Cambridge for 40 years. Mike is a member of the RC of Cambridge Sunrise, joined Rotary in 1987, has been club president 3 times, is a Major Donor, multiple Paul Harris Fellow and has done 2 humanitarian service projects in the Dominican Republic. He is in line to the Distirct Governor on July 1 this year. Mike has been married to Louise for 48 years and they have 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren. HIs message today is on Rotary’s efforts to eradicate polio. …..
