Cambridge City Councilor - Homeless Issue

"Scott Hamilton is a Cambridge resident with his Masters in Political Science from the University of Oxford (UK), a PhD from the London School of Economics (LSE) (UK), and he was one of Canada's Banting Postdoctoral Fellows, teaching International Security at Wilfrid Laurier University and the Balsillie School of International Affairs. Seeking to make more of an impact to help his local community, Scott left academia to work in the non-profit sector, and is now the Senior Director at the United Way Waterloo Region. Every day, he works with local charities addressing issues ranging from poverty, affordable housing, and mental health, to addictions, food insecurity, and illiteracy. Scott also has a part-time role as a Cambridge City Councillor for Ward 7, is training for a marathon, and he and his wife Katie have two young and extremely energetic children they are raising in Cambridge."
