Opening and Sgt at Arms Report
In light of COVID-19, it was decided to temporarily move our meeting location to 293 Grand Ridge Drive, Cambridge, for our March 26 meeting.

The first order of business was to determine whom would chair the meeting.

Todd Lyons put a motion forward that Todd Lyons be Acting President on this day, March 26, 2020, from 12:15pm to 1:30pm.  If ratified, total control of the Rotary Club of Cambridge (Preston-Hespeler) would fall on his shoulders, reverting back to President Chad Gagne upon conclusion of today's meeting.

Todd Lyons seconded the motion.

- Passed - unanimously

Acting President Todd opened the meeting at 12:35
Todd Lyons recited the 4 Way Test, then Todd Lyons lead the invocation.
Todd Lyons gave the Sargent-at-Arms report, saying that we had 1 member in attendance today, and zero guests.
50-50 Draw

Todd Lyons was asked to do the 50/50 draw - in these odd circumstances, Todd ruled that the winner would receive 100% of the ticket sales - no one objected, so it was so.
Todd Lyons decided Todd Lyons could pull the winning ticket, and in true Paul T. Cody style, he pulled his own ticket - winning the entire pot of $2.00

We really missed Johnny Smooth running this part of the program - there seemed to be far less pizzazz...
Good News
Todd Lyons started us off - he says he misses coming to Rotary every week; especially his week, as it's his turn to do the bulletin...
   - editor's note - I bet he's happy he came today, he's leaving with $2.00!!

Acting President Todd Lyons thanked the membership for the awesome participation in Good News - he only recalls once before where we had 100% of the members in attendance contribute!

Announcements and Upcoming Events
Acting President Todd Announced that next week's Rotary meeting has been cancelled due to Corona concerns

Todd Lyons, who has been running our Bingo efforts, announced that today we received our first Bingo Proceed deposit - and it is...  $2,471.14
He went on to thank George, Jacquie, Larissa, and Heidi - 4 members, 2.5 hours each...  that means we were paid $247 PER ROTARIAN, PER HOUR!!!

Todd Lyons then announced that in the absence of Mike Thomas, he would like to apologize to Todd Lyons on Mike's behalf; apparently Mike Thomas had mentioned to Todd last year that he thought bringing Bingo back to the club was a bad idea; Mike is truly sorry, and will never doubt Todd Lyons again, he then added "Wow, Todd is really smart".

Program
Acting President Todd then called upon member Todd Lyons to introduce our Guest Speaker Todd Lyons.

Todd said he's known Todd most of his life, although they didn't speak much for the first couple of years.  In their childhood, they played together a lot, as there didn't seem to be many other kids their age in the neighbourhood.  He then went on to make fun of Todd for his long curly hair in his late teens - HA, look who's laughing now!

As Todd took the floor for his presentation, suffice it to say he really didn't have anything new to say, so I won't bore you with all of the details.

Oddly, I don't think I learned one thing - it's like I could tell what was coming next...  it was the most un-original presentation I'd ever sat through...

Todd Lyons thanked our guest speaker, obviously exaggerating how informative and enjoyable the presentation was, although I'm not sure I could have done any better.

Acting President Todd then offered the official thanks of the club, and adjourned the meeting.

Editor's note - I personally think Acting President Todd did a fantastic job wrapping things up right on the dot at 1:30pm; so President Chad now resumes the reigns of the Club.  For the members who didn't make it out today, you really missed something - Todd not only paid for everyone's lunch, it was also open bar; it really shows you should do your best to make it out to each and every meeting - you never know what you're going to miss!
