Program
Paul TC.  introduced one of our dynamic, fun and definitely spontaneous new members - Caitlyn McIntyre doing her introduction  "Who am I " to the club.
Both parents are professionals, her father travels for work and she has one sister Samantha close in age - two dogs and a cat. Samantha is much different than Caitlyn as she is not into tech, a little more conservative but both grew up in a family that loved to dress up, enjoy life and travel as a family. Her sister and herself were both featured in the newspaper at the same time - Caitlyn for her Zombie costume and Samantha for her school grades.....
Caitlyn gets her high energy from her parents.  An example would be her father's hobbies -just a few - scuba diving, car racing (three vehicles) with the full fireproof suits. He is also very passionate about the Canadian Lifting Association and is very successful at all three.
Caitlyn has so many passions - one of which for many of us actually remember as kids however, they are now part of Caitlyn's history as she was born in 1990....REALLY ...Jim J. must feel ancient if I feel old !!
Sci fi and Fantasy - they love to dress up, comic characters weekend competitions - interesting - something I have no idea about. Caitlyn and her friend enjoy making their own costumes, and from the pictures they are absolutely amazing. She has made prom dresses and overall is very creative- recently she has taken up photography and also has a passion for travel, zombies and baking.
Two sides to the family story of course - which she had explained are very different -the McIntyre's and the Woodsie clan - Scottish and Brit's. The Woodsie's have a famous musical creativity which she inherited but not to the extent of others in the family-but the fun and craziness she definitely enjoys.
Caitlyn started her first career after graduating form U of W as a journalist and found it wasn't her passion so decided to take her law degree at Queen's - she was also able to have some fun dressing up with her fellow classmates for different themed parties- and truly enjoyed the different atmosphere of Queen's compared to Waterloo.
Caitlyn graduated from Queens and called to the bar 2016/2017 - she does the Happy law for Goad and Goad in town and has been an engaged member of our club since the first week she attended our meetings.
Welcome Caitlyn we love your energy, enthusiasm and creativity!
