Update from Tom, our Bonspiel Chair. The top team was Cambridge North consisting of Stephen Witteveen, Don Daggett, Erica Tennenbaum(from P-H) and Mario Piccinin. They just edged out the Bob Armstrong team from Ingersoll. P-H's highest team was Paul Cody's at #5. Kudos to the Galt Country Club that did a great job hosting the bonspiel and also provided our top prize of 4 guest passes with carts. The curling bonspiel will be profitable, while attaining its goal to promote good curling and fellowship. I have tentatively reserved March 7, 2019 for the next bonspiel. Mark your calendar for next year, especially those who didn't come out this year! |
