Membership minute.
Jim Johnston has been a member for 30 + years. So long that he has forgotten when he Joined.  He was a past president. When he was President  the board didn't spend any money. That started the tradition that we stil operate under where the Prez and Board spend last years money. His business career spans 40+ years. As I understand it he has has had  several businesses.  12 years ago he sold his Collision business.   After a few years he got bored and started a beer cart business that still going.  ( The truth is probably some where in between But I think Sheila wanted him out of the house.)
Opening and Sgt at Arms Report
President Jim opened the meeting, No O Canada today. I don't remember who read the 4 way test.  I think Florence did the invocation.

Good news  Paul McMenemy was here .  Apparently his joke didn't pass the screening test of District Governor.  Any way  In September he had a lump removed from his throat.  He found out it was cancer.  The surgeon said they got it all and not to worry.  His advice is go see your Doctor !!!

Program
  Program was 2 parts
Dean Brecka (district Governor Driver) and Kathy Dick District Governor inducted Liska Jenneck  and Randy Cole.

Prez Jim then asked us to welcome Rotary 's newest members.

Our Speaker was Autumn Fernandez.  She operates a Business called " One Movement". Autumn is a massage therapist and a dancer.   One Movement started 7 years ago when she saw a need to stop bullying in Schools.    She designed a dance routine for both elementary and secondary schools that addresses  bullying. The show involves 4 dancers where they act out to the students.  The elementary show is about an hour and for the high schools it is about 1 hour 15 minutes.  A show cost is $800. It doesn't fit in all school budgets There were various stats, but the one that stood out is 22% percent of students don't  feel safe in their own school.   Teachers are taught to watch for sign of depression which could include withdrawal and or anger. Students are taught there is a difference between tattling and getting help...  Surveys after they do their routine is conditions have improved.  Most of the evidence is anecdotal as students have said things have improved and teachers and principals have asked them to come back.  Sandra Pelletier thanked the speaker and Prez Jim gave the club thanks.
