Program
Jeff Hunter introduced our guest speaker Cameron Dearlove who he originally met in school and  worked for briefly.
Cameron has been Executive director this past year.
Serving 1600 families.  Food security is its main goal  .  10000 food baskets are given out.   Mike"s Lunch on Saturday  serves 360 meals a month.  Many members belong to a Food Cooperative.  Members pay $10 a month  and volunteer their time. There are 5 community gardens within Cambridge were members can volunteer.  Last year  over 5 tons of food grown and distributed.  This has served the youth well teaching new skills.
There is also a social aspect to the Food Bank.   Programs for seniors  looking after grand children has been operating 17 years.   Clothes for members and a Street outreach program is also in existence.
Funds for the food bank mostly come from the community.  2% from United Way and 3% from the region.  The rest is from donors like you and me.
Steve Brand thanked our speaker and Pres Linda gave official club Thanks
