Linda Berault announced that we are recieving a cheque for 5000 from the district. This is to support and match what we did in Sir Lanka in Linda's year as President. . Ingrid and Norm from Rotary District thanked us for our initiative. If i heard correctly Larissa Putt and Ivana Shibono had to take a seminar and probably pass a test to qualify for a special grant that District was offering clubs to help with covid locally.. Apparently we were one of the first clubs to apply. Ivana said money would go towards Langs and Nutrition for Learning. Well done and thanks for the extra effort. Mike Thomas updated us with roses. Interesting we have had lots of donations in lieu of roses. Who knew? Linda B was having a zoom meeting tonight on our auction. Randy announced the Golf tournament is scheduled for May 10 2021 |
