Bio for Bill Davidson

Bill Davidson is a resident of Cambridge and has been the Executive Director of Langs since 1985.  He has a Master’s Degree in Leadership and completed his graduate research on interdisciplinary teams.

Bill has been instrumental in establishing the Langs and North Dumfries Community Health Centres, Community Diabetes Program, Youth Drop-In Centre, and most recently the Community Hub in 2012. The Hub is an innovative 66,000 sq. ft. facility where 25+ health and social services organizations are co-located. This model has received significant attention in the five years and has been visited by close to 65 cities representing over 100 different community groups across the province.

As an active volunteer, Bill has served on numerous Boards of Directors. He was selected as a recipient of two commemorative medals and a Life Time Achievement award from the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce to recognize his work in the community.
