New Women's Shelter in Cambridge

"Kim Decker has been at the helm of YWCA Cambridge for over 35 years.  She has demonstrated "innovation in working towards gender equality for all women through informed advocacy, support of colleagues, and leadership at the local and higher levels."

Under her guidance, the organization has expanded its child care program and summer camp programming. She's also been instrumental in the push for a women’s emergency homeless shelter, which would be the first of its kind in the city.

The YWCA Cambridge supports and advocates for the needs of cis, trans women and girls, non-binary and Two-Spirit individuals through its services and programs."
