Ruth Cameron is a PhD student at Wilfrid Laurier University in Community Psychology, and the Executive Director of the AIDS Committee of Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and Area (ACCKWA). She has past experience in the anti-violence against women sector, and is also a member of the Ontario Advisory Committee on HIV/AIDS. Her academic, community development and consulting work focuses on intersectoral health equity interventions, HIV/AIDS prevention, LGBTQ health and initiatives combatting anti-Black racism.
