Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation

Lisa Short is the Executive Director of the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation and has over 15 years of experience in the fundraising and not-for-profit sector.

As a successful relationship builder, her leadership role includes helping donors feel a connection with their hospital and educating the community on how hospital equipment is funded – through generous donations.

Lisa leads a dynamic and passionate Foundation development team that has raised $25,000,00 since 2017 for our hospital. This includes $10,000,000 raised through the WeCareCMH Campaign to equip the recently opened (January 2020) new wing at CMH. Lisa and her team will continue to raise funds for new and replacement equipment at CMH with the ultimate goal of providing the very best in local healthcare for our community. Current funding priorities include $5 million needed for a new MRI.
 

Cambridge born and raised, Lisa remains passionate to build a sense of community in the place she calls home and to enhance the lives of all residents by strengthening local healthcare.

She proudly lives in our community with her husband Peter and they are celebrating their recent ‘empty nester’ status. Their children, Lily and Cameron are both away at Ontario Universities.
