Laura Ross’ Bio
Laura Ross is the founder and leader of SEEDS, a safe home and support program for survivors of human trafficking in Ontario. She is passionate about creating spaces of healing, dignity, and hope where women can rebuild their lives. Under her leadership, SEEDS has grown to welcome multiple residents, expand volunteer involvement, and launch initiatives that empower survivors toward independence. Laura’s work is shaped by her faith, love for community, and commitment to building a future where every survivor has a safe place to call home.
She has been married to her husband Ian since 1996, and has raised 5 beautiful children, who have all just recently left the nest. Her other passions are gardening, reading and travelling (having been to 6 of the 7 continents), and getting together with good friends.
