- Work History;
- Started my apprenticeship in 1984.
- Moved into Project Management, sales / estimating in 1994
- Worked for a family owned / operated Industrial contracting firm in Southern Ontario with satellite operations in the US until 2004
- 2004 – current - Worked at upper management levels of operations for two of Canada’s larger, long standing Multi trade employers
- Focused North America Wide (90% Canadian) Industrial & Infrastructure projects
- In 2016 started to transition into the Labour Relations responsibilities for Aecon where I am now the Director of Labour Relations with a large focus on;
- Energy; power (Nuclear, Thermal, Renewables), gas transmission,
- Manufacturing; refineries, Steel, Automotive
- Infrastructure; Bridges, subways, transit systems
- Industry Engagement;
- Long standing board member and Chair of EPSCA (Electrical Power Sector Construction Association)
- Long standing board member and Chair of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada’s – Unionized Contractors Committee
- Long standing board member and Chair of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Ontario
- Long standing board member and past president of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Hamilton / Niagara
- Long standing board member and Chair of the Industrial Contractors Association of Canada
- Member of the Boilermakers Contractors Association of Canada, Ontario Industry Liaison committee
